TengoMed's mission is to
develop the passion of students interested in healthcare and medicine
and to empower students to explore the field of medicine now
About the Instructor
Workshops are led by Valerie Teng, MD, a board certified family physician who practices and teaches at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Teng has taught medical reasoning and procedure-based workshops for high school students, college students, post-baccalaureate students, and medical students. In addition to her role as Clinical Associate Professor, she currently serves as the Executive Director of the Stanford Medical Scribe Fellowship Program (COMET) and the Co-Director of Stanford Family Medicine's Minor Procedure Service. She is combining her passions for practicing medicine, performing office-based medical/surgical procedures, and inspiring students interested in the field of medicine to bring CampMed and CampMedMini conferences to a location near you.
